There are many ways a person can make a difference. Some things require a lot of time and personal energy, while others can be done in only a few minutes per day—it is really up to you.  Here’s a list of some suggested actions that you can take to influence your government and your community.

• Sign up for our Citizen Action Network (CAN)
• Become a member of the Evergreen Freedom Foundation
• Contact your elected officials
• Arrange meetings with elected officials for your neighbors and friends
• Study the voting records of your elected officials.
• Call radio talk shows
• Respond to blog articles, especially newspaper and other large organizational blogs.
• Be deliberate about teaching citizenship and economic principles to your children and grandchildren
• Volunteer for activities that change people’s lives
• Testify at legislative hearings in Olympia
• Take the classes we offer in the First Principles of Freedom and The Art of Persuasion.
